WHITE RABBIT
“White Rabbit” was a series of zouk social evenings inviting people to connect through movement, music, and togetherness. The name was inspired by the White Rabbit from Alice in The Wonderland, who would appear throughout the events.
A zouk social is a space where people come together to dance, connect, and share music through movement. What matters here is not only the dance itself, but also the connection with a partner, musicality, improvisation, and the ability to adapt to different people and styles of music. In social dance culture, people dance not for performance or perfect technique, but for the living moment, communication, and the shared experience created together through dance.
At the beginning of the evening, there is a zouk practice session designed to help participants ease into the dance and better feel the movement, rhythm, and partner connection. The practice is open to everyone — from experienced dancers to complete beginners. Later, the evening naturally flows into a social dancing format, where people switch partners, improvise, and simply enjoy dancing together.
The space also includes a tea room — a calm place to pause, rest, chat, or step away from the dance for a moment. At the end of the evening, everyone gathers in a shared dance circle, which gradually turns into a hug circle — a simple way to close the night with closeness and gratitude.
